More than a dozen Republican senators want to see the slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk included in President Donald Trump’s proposed pantheon of American heroes.

In a letter to Trump led by Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., the lawmakers requested that Kirk be included in the National Garden of American Heroes, a massive project of 250 life-size statues of some of the country’s most notable figures.

If included, Kirk would join the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Kobe Bryant, Martin Luther King Jr., Amelia Earhart and Albert Einstein, among several others, in the proposed statuary park.

‘The inclusion of Mr. Kirk in the National Garden would not only honor his personal achievements but would also underscore the vital role that civic engagement plays in our national heritage,’ the lawmakers wrote. ‘Recognizing leaders who encourage participation and dialogue ensures that the Garden reflects both the historical and contemporary voices that continue to shape America.’

Kirk was assassinated last month in Orem, Utah, while addressing an audience at Utah Valley University. Since then, lawmakers have pushed for a commemorative coin in his honor; he was posthumously honored by Trump with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and his birthday, Oct. 14, was honored as the Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance.

The latest move to see a statue of Kirk erected in the proposed park in South Dakota, which would sit near Mount Rushmore, also has the backing of his widow, Erika Kirk.

She said in a statement to Fox News Digital that her late husband ‘forever changed the direction of this country, and he made it [a] better place for our children, young people and families. Charlie’s legacy will be felt for generations to come.’

‘My husband was a modern American Founding Father, and he deserves every honor and accolade this nation can bestow on him,’ she said. ‘I am grateful to Senator Cassidy and the 14 other senators who have nominated Charlie for this tremendous honor.’

The National Garden of Heroes was first established by Trump through an executive order in 2020 and later reaffirmed in one of his last executive orders during his first term in early 2021. It later got an injection of $40 million in funding from his ‘big, beautiful bill,’ which he signed into law in July.

In the order, Trump said that the garden would be ‘built to reflect the awesome splendor of our country’s timeless exceptionalism.’

‘In short, each individual has been chosen for embodying the American spirit of daring and defiance, excellence and adventure, courage and confidence, loyalty and love,’ Trump said. ‘Astounding the world by the sheer power of their example, each one of them has contributed indispensably to America’s noble history, the best chapters of which are still to come.’

Trump’s plan, according to a grant application portal that teed up the project’s ambitious timeline, is to have the marble, granite, bronze, copper or brass life-size statues created and situated in the garden by July 2026 to commemorate the country’s 250th anniversary.

New analytical results are presented below (see Table 1), including 33 mineralized intercepts from nine new drill holes. Infill intercepts are located inside the 2024 MRE model ( see November 14, 2024 news release ), and are focused on upgrading inferred mineral resources to measured or indicated categories, as applicable. Expansion intercepts are located outside the 2024 MRE model and may potentially lead to additional resources that will be classified appropriately within the next MRE update. Discussion

Drill hole 30-1107, located on top of Copper Mountain near the center of the 2024 MRE model, cut three mineralized intervals including 592.0 metres averaging 0.33 % Cu, 1.68 g/t Ag and 0.032% Mo (which includes 336.6 metres of depth expansion), extending mineralization in this area to a vertical depth of 1003 metres.

Drill hole 30-1112, located on the western flank of Copper Mountain, cut two mineralized intervals including 868.5 metres averaging 0.23 % Cu, 1.45 g/t Ag and 0.019% Mo (which includes 417.0 metres of depth expansion), extending mineralization in this area to a vertical depth of 1119 metres.

Drill hole 30-1113, located on the western margin of the 2024 MRE model, cut multiple intersections of mineralization, 26 to 42 metres thick and distributed in ‘layer cake’ fashion from surface to a vertical depth of 769 metres, confirming the current limit of the 2024 MRE model at this location.

Drill hole 30-1114, located near the eastern margin of the 2024 MRE model, cut multiple intersections of mineralization distributed in ‘layer cake’ fashion from surface to a vertical depth of 950 metres, including 142.1 metres averaging 0.39 % Cu, 1.50 g/t Ag and 0.019% Mo (expansion).

Drill hole 30-1116, located on top of Copper Mountain near the center of the 2024 MRE model, cut six mineralized intervals including 565.5 metres averaging 0.22 % Cu, 1.86 g/t Ag and 0.017% Mo (which includes 96.3 metres of depth expansion), extending mineralization in this area to a vertical depth of 1110 metres.

Drill holes 30-1119 and 30-1124, both located immediately south of the southern margin of the 2024 MRE model, cut multiple intersections of mineralization, including 46.4 metres averaging 1.10 % Cu, 5.08 g/t Ag and 0.032% Mo near and including the E Zone skarn horizon (30-1119) and 203.2 metres averaging 0.37% Cu and 2.81 g/t Ag (30-1124). These intersections extend mineralization to a vertical depth of 619 metres within the southern expansion of the deposit, which remains open towards Needle Mountain East.

Drill hole 30-1121, located 50 metres east of the 2024 MRE model, did not intersect significant mineralization as expected, once again confirming the current eastern limit of the resource model.

Drill hole 30-1122, located on the western flank of Copper Mountain, intersected three mineralized intervals, including 760.5 metres averaging 0.24% Cu, 1.71 g/t Ag and 0.015% Mo (which includes 456.1 metres of depth expansion), extending mineralization in this area to a vertical depth of 1137 metres.

Mineralization at Gaspé Copper is of porphyry copper/skarn type and occurs as disseminations and stockworks of chalcopyrite with pyrite or pyrrhotite and minor bornite and molybdenite. One prograde and at least five retrograde vein/stockwork mineralizing events have been recognized at Copper Mountain, which overprint earlier, bedding replacement skarn and porcellanite-hosted mineralization throughout the Gaspé Copper system. Porcellanite is a historical mining term used to describe bleached, pale green to white potassic-altered hornfels. Subvertical stockwork mineralization dominates at Copper Mountain whereas prograde bedding-parallel mineralization, that is mostly stratigraphically controlled, dominates in the area of lower Copper Mountain, Needle Mountain, Needle East, and Copper Brook. High molybdenum grades (up to 0.5% Mo) were locally obtained in both the C Zone and E Zone skarns away from Copper Mountain.

The 2022 to 2024 Osisko Metals drill programs were focused on defining open-pit resources within the Copper Mountain stockwork mineralization ( see May 6, 2024 MRE press release ). Extending the resource model south of Copper Mountain into the poorly-drilled prograde skarn/porcellanite portion of the system subsequently led to a significantly increased resource, mostly in the Inferred category ( see November 14, 2024 MRE press release ).

The current drill program is designed to convert the November 2024 MRE to Measured and Indicated categories, as well as test the expansion of the system deeper into the stratigraphy and laterally to the south and southwest towards Needle East and Needle Mountain respectively. The November 2024 MRE was limited at depth to the base of the L1 skarn horizon (C Zone), and all mineralized intersections below this horizon represent potential depth extensions to the deposit, to be included in the next scheduled MRE update in Q1 2026.

All holes are being drilled sub-vertically into the altered calcareous stratigraphy which dips 20 to 25 degrees to the north. The L1 (C Zone) the L2 (E Zone) skarn/marble horizons were intersected in most holes, as well as intervening porcellanites that host the bulk of the disseminated copper mineralization.

Copper Equivalent grades are expressed for purposes of simplicity and are calculated taking into account: 1) metal grades; 2) estimated long-term prices of metals: US$4.25/lb copper, $20.00/lb molybdenum, and US$24/oz silver; 3) estimated recoveries of 92%, 70%, and 70% for Cu, Mo, and Ag respectively; and 4) net smelter return value of metals as percentage of the price, estimated at 86.5%, 90.7%, and 75.0% for Cu, Mo, and Ag respectively.

Intervals of 20 metres or less are not reported unless indicating significantly higher grades . True widths are estimated at 90 – 92% of the reported core length intervals.

Osisko Metals adheres to a strict QA/QC program for core handling, sampling, sample transportation and analyses, including insertion of blanks and standards in the sample stream. Drill core is drilled in HQ or NQ diameter and securely transported to its core processing facility on site, where it is logged, cut and sampled. Samples selected for assay are sealed and shipped to ALS Canada Ltd.’s preparation facility in Sudbury. Sample preparation details (code PREP-31DH) are available on the ALS Canada website. Adams Plateau Project

The road accessible Adams Plateau Project is located approximately 100 km north-east of Kamloops, British Columbia. Sediment-hosted polymetallic massive sulfide mineralization (silver, copper, gold, zinc and lead) at Adams Plateau is hosted within the prospective Eagle Bay assemblage. The project has excellent infrastructure including extensive road network from past logging activity, power and rail-lines and services are nearby.

Work in 2025 comprised project-wide soil and rock geochemical surveys (Figure 1). Grid-based soil sampling (5,002 samples) was designed to infill and expand on previous surveys aimed at covering the entirety of the prospective Eagle Bay assemblage across the project. Prospecting and rock sampling (83 samples) was also completed near previously reported high-grade soil and rock anomalies.

Results and highlights from 2025 rock sampling program include:

  • Lucky-Elsie: High-grade mineralization at the Lucky-Elsie area is characterized by a northeast-southwest trending 1.5 km zone of massive to semi-massive sulfide lenses, following the main foliation, which dips to the northwest. Grab samples from the trend returned up to 2,310 g/t Ag with 20.0% Pb and 1.7% Zn (J039530) and 1,230 g/t Ag with 20.0% Pb and 5.4% Zn (J039524, Figure 2 and Table 1).

  • Spar-Ex: High-grade mineralization at the Spar-Ex area is hosted in siliceous and graphitic phyllites of the Eagle Bay Assemblage with sulfides consisting of pyrite, galena, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite. Semi-massive lenses are localized along folds and are locally thickened to approximately 3 m along a strike length of at least 365 meters. Grab samples from the area returned up to 344 g/t Ag with 11.4% Pb and 9.0% Zn (J039509) and 150 g/t Ag with 8.9% Pb and 2.7% Zn (J039758, Figure 2 and Table 1).

Results and highlights from the 2025 soil geochemical survey include:

  • Wad-Second (North): Approximately 2 km north of the WAD-Second showing, a northeast trending Pb-Zn-Cu soil anomaly was defined and underlain by the prospective Johnson Lake Unit of the Eagle Bay assemblage. The 500 m by 1,000 m multi-element anomaly is located on the western limb of the property-scale antiform.

  • Wad-Second (East): A second, northeast-southwest trending, approximately 1 km long, Ag-Pb-Zn soil anomaly was defined approximately 1 km east of WAD-Second showing. This soil anomaly is underlain by metamorphic rocks of the Eagle Bay assemblage.

  • Mosquito King East: A significant coincident Cu-Pb-Zn soil anomaly was outlined 1 km east of the Mosquito King occurrence, trending approximately north-south. The anomaly is underlain by sedimentary rocks of the Eagle Bay assemblage.

  • King Tut East: A significant Pb-Zn soil anomaly with a lesser Ag-Cu anomaly was defined 1 km east of the King Tut occurrence on the contact of sedimentary rocks of the Eagle Bay assemblage and a quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusion. The anomalous zone near the hinge of a significant property-scale, north-south trending antiform.

  • Spar: A northeast-southwest trending Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu soil anomaly, approximately 1 km SW of the Spar occurrence was defined. The anomaly is underlain by prospective rocks of the Eagle Bay assemblage. The orthogonal orientation of the anomaly with respect to the underlying stratigraphy suggest a structural control on mineralization rather than stratabound.

Next Steps

These new rock and soil geochemical results together with the extensive historical geochemical database will be used to refine high-priority drill targets. The recently granted 5-year multi-year area-based (‘MYAB’) exploration permit provides the Company authorization to drill test many of the targets across the project area.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Rock and soil samples were bagged onsite and delivered to ALS Minerals Laboratories in Kamloops, British Columbia. ALS Kamloops / North Vancouver is certified with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015 accreditation from the Standards Council of Canada.

Rock samples were prepared (CRU-31, SPL-31 and PUL-31) and then analysed for 48 elements by ICP-MS on a 0.25-gram aliquot using a four-acid digestion (method ME-MS61). Gold was analyzed by fire assay on a 30-gram aliquot with an AA finish (Au-AA23). Overlimit samples (e.g. Ag, Cu, Pb & Zn) were re-analyzed using an ore-grade, four-acid digestion and ICP-AES finish (method ME-OG62).

Soil samples were field dried in a temperature-controlled field tent in camp before being shipped to the ALS lab. The samples were then screened to -180 microns (SCR-41) analysed using an aqua regia digestion followed by an ICP-MS finish (method ME-MS41). Gold was analyzed on a 25-gram aliquot with an ICP-MS finish (Au-ST43).

Standard Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: STND,OTC:STTDF) (OTCQB: STTDF) (FSE: 9SU0) (‘Standard Uranium’ or the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce that it has closed the final tranche (the ‘Final Tranche’) of its non-brokered private placement (the ‘Offering’) for gross proceeds of $1,513,500. When combined with earlier tranches, the Company has raised gross proceeds of $3,337,400 in connection with the Offering through the issuance of 15,598,750 non-flow-through units (each, an ‘NFT Unit’) at a price of $0.08 per NFT Unit and 20,895,000 flow-through units (each, an ‘FT Unit’) at a price of $0.10 per FT Unit.

The Company anticipates the net proceeds raised from the Offering will be used for the exploration of the Company’s Saskatchewan uranium projects and for working capital purposes.

In connection with closing of the Final Tranche, the Company issued 15,135,000 FT Units at a price of $0.10 per FT Unit. Each FT Unit consists of one common share of the Company issued as a flow-through share within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada), and one-half of one common share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a ‘Warrant‘). Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share of the Company at a price of $0.15 at any time on or before October 28, 2027.

In connection with closing of the Final Tranche, the Company paid finders’ fees of $69,360 and issued 693,600 non-transferable share purchase warrants (each, a ‘Finders’ Warrant‘) to certain arms-length parties who assisted in introducing subscribers to the Offering. Each Finders’ Warrant is exercisable on the same terms as the Warrants. All securities issued pursuant to the Final Tranche, and any shares that may be issuable on exercise of any Warrants or Finders’ Warrants, are subject to a statutory hold period until March 1, 2026.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Homerun and Magnum will evaluate the use of Homerun’s high-purity silica potential column media for ion-exchange chromatography, as reported in scientific literature for REE separation.1,2
  • The program of works to be undertaken will aim to determine whether Homerun’s high-purity materials can be optimised for ion-exchange or chromatographic separation of REEs from ore samples sourced from Magnum’s Brazilian REE projects.
  • If successful, the program has the potential to lead to a lower-footprint alternative to conventional solvent extraction for REEs, and in particular, Heavy REEs. Any new process know-how or IP generated during testing will be jointly owned by the parties.
  • It is envisaged that initial testing will be conducted at bench scale, with the possibility of further scalability through further modular pilot-scale additions if results are positive.

DETAILS OF THE MOU

Under the MoU the Parties will joint evaluate, the following:

  • The bench scale application of the HMR ultra-pure silica sand for adsorption and chromatographic separation of rare earth elements from MGU’s REE projects in Brazil.

  • Subject to the success of the bench scale test, a pilot test of the jointly developed solution.

  • Eventual commercialisation of the jointly developed solution.

All IP created during the testing phases will be jointly controlled by the Parties. If a Party determines that chromatographic separation of rare earth elements is not suitable to their materials supplied for the purpose of the testing, they may exit the MoU and the other Party will have the right to utilise the IP obtained to their benefit. The Parties shall develop budgets to jointly cover the costs incurred related to the testing phases. The MoU term will expire in 12 months (subject to renewal). The MOU may be terminated on 30 days notice’ or due to an Event of Default or Force Majeure.

Sankamap Metals Inc. The results from the 2025 Mobile MT survey delineate resistive and conductive features consistent with porphyry, epithermal, and skarn-style mineral systems. The geophysical data further corroborate earlier surface exploration findings at the Kuma property, which delineated a well-developed lithocap exceeding two kilometers in extent. Hyperspectral analysis has outlined extensive phyllic, argillic, and advanced argillic alteration zones, while grab sampling has returned impressive assay results of up to 11.7% copper (‘Cu’) and 13.5 g/t gold (‘Au’), underscoring the strength and continuity of mineralization within the system.

The Kuma Project is strategically located along a highly prospective trend that hosts several major deposits; Lihir containing 71 Moz Au1 (310 Mt containing 23 Moz Au at 2.3 g/t Proven+Probable (‘P&P’), 520 Mt containing 39 Moz Au at 2.3 g/t indicated, 81 Mt containing 5 Moz Au at 1.9 g/t measured, 61 Mt containing 4.9 Moz Au at 2.3 g/t Inferred) and Panguna containing 19.3 Moz Au + 5.3 Mt Cu2 (1.5 Mt containing 16.1 Moz Au at 0.33 g/t and 4.6 Mt Cu at 0.3 % Indicated, 300 Mt containing 3.2 Moz Au 0.4 g/t and 0.7 Mt Cu Inferred), both share geological similarities to the Kuma project.

Technical Discussion

Porphyry Cu-Au systems can exhibit a broad spectrum of electromagnetic (EM) responses, reflecting different host rocks, alteration styles, erosional levels and geological conditions unique to each system. For example, systems with intact lithocaps, which is potentially the case at Kuma, often differ from those with eroded or exposed mineralized cores, producing either predominantly conductive or resistive EM signatures.

As at Kuma, most calc-alkaline porphyry systems exhibit elevated electrical conductivity, largely attributable to extensive pyritic halos and mica-rich alteration zones that envelop a potassic core (as displayed in Figure 2 and 3). This core typically appears as a distinctly resistive feature, reflecting zones of magnetite or K-feldspar alteration characterized by relatively low sulfide concentrations.

In July 2025, Expert Geophysics was engaged to conduct a 374 line-kilometer airborne geophysical survey (Mobile MT), which was flown along north-south lines at 100-meter intervals (Figure 1).

The final geophysical data processing has been completed. Sankamap, together with Expert Geophysics and independent geophysical consultants familiar with this type of data, have reviewed the results. The survey highlights several significant geophysical features that will assist in defining the next phase of exploration and drill targeting.

The geophysical models reveal a highly conductive feature that forms a continuous ring-shaped zone flanking a central resistive body. This conductive anomaly appears consistent with a potassic intrusive core or a resistive intrusive complex at depth. Notably, the highest conductivity corresponds with surface zones of advanced argillic and clay-mica alteration (Figure 2).

The conductivity and resistivity highs coincide with a previously mapped annular topographic depression, suggesting potential preferential erosion within the propylitic alteration zone surrounding a core of phyllic-altered rocks (Figure 2). The alignment of these geophysical, geological, and geomorphological features supports a coherent porphyry-style hydrothermal model, with a resistive intrusive core surrounded by conductive alteration halos and erosional depressions marking outer alteration zones.

The integration of these datasets provides a strong 3D framework for ongoing exploration and drill targeting.

Saga Metals Corp. With site preparations now in the final stages of completion, SAGA is ready to mobilize the rest of its exploration team as drilling is set to commence in early November, targeting the expansion of known oxide mineralization at the Radar project and advancing toward a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) over the Trapper Zone.

Final Camp and Equipment Preparations:

With the geologists and drilling team set to arrive in the coming days, SAGA’s on-site team is working through the final stages of camp preparations including personnel and kitchen trailer placement as well as furnishing a full core shack, cutting shack and logging facility.

Meanwhile, the Gladiator Drilling crew from Springdale, Newfoundland has been doing final checks and maintenance on the Duralite 800 drill and associated equipment. They are currently packing up and loading the trailers for mobilization.

Drill Program Objectives:

The Phase 1 Trapper Zone drill campaign will target:

  • Grade continuity across a 3 km strike length.
  • Oxide layering widths and continuity to depths of about 200 metres.
  • Integration of structural insights from trenching and drilling into collar orientation and drill design.
  • Initial drilling of 1,500-2,500 m in 6-10 holes, each about 250 m in depth will be completed before the December break.
  • Test both the North and South sections of the Trapper zone prior to the break in order to fully grasp grade, width and structure prior to initiating the detailed grid and drill sections in 2026 for the purposes of a mineral resource estimate.
  • Drilling will be complemented by metallurgical sampling through the winter, with core from both the Hawkeye and Trapper zones undergoing detailed metallurgical testing.

  • Metallurgical readiness: Ongoing petrographic and mineralogical studies by Dr. Al Miller confirm those primary magmatic textures favourable for downstream processing.

Together, these achievements support SAGA’s strategy of advancing Radar toward resource definition and positioning it as a potential cornerstone critical minerals project in North America.

Advancing the Radar Project

The Radar Property spans 24,175 hectares and hosts the entire Dykes River intrusive complex (~160 km²), a unique position among Western explorers. Geological mapping, geophysics, and trenching have already confirmed oxide layering across more than 20 km of strike length, with mineralization open for expansion.

Vanadiferous titanomagnetite (‘VTM’) mineralization at Radar is comparable to global Fe–Ti–V systems such as Panzhihua (China), Bushveld (South Africa), and Tellnes (Norway), positioning the Project as a potential strategic future supplier of titanium, vanadium, and iron to North American markets.

Investor Relations Agreements

SAGA has re-engaged Think Ink Marketing Data & Email Services (‘ Think Ink ‘) to provide corporate awareness and digital marketing services commencing on November 1, 2025.

Think Ink will leverage its expertise in native and display advertising, video content distribution, social media coverage, and targeted email marketing to enhance the Company’s digital presence and expand market awareness in exchange for cash consideration in the amount of USD$100,000. The IR Agreement has an initial term of 31 days unless earlier terminated or renewed in accordance with its terms. The Company may renew the IR Agreement for successive 31-day periods upon providing notice to Think Ink.

Compensation to Think Ink does not include any securities of the Company, and Think Ink does not hold any interest, directly or indirectly, in the Company. Think Ink is at arm’s length to the Company and has no relationship with the Company outside of this engagement.

Bitcoin (BTC) and the broader cryptocurrency market are showing signs of renewed investor appetite after softer-than-expected US inflation data helped lift global risk sentiment.

In a post on X, blockchain analytics CryptoQuant said a “risk-on” tone has returned across major asset classes following the release of the September Consumer Price Index (CPI) report, which showed inflation rising 0.3 percent, slightly below consensus forecasts.

The modest increase from August reinforced expectations that the Federal Reserve could pursue a more accommodative stance at its next policy meeting.

The cooler inflation print appears to have reignited appetite for growth and speculative assets, marking a shift from the defensive tone that dominated markets earlier this quarter. Analysts noted that the CPI data has strengthened hopes of near-term rate cuts.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin researcher Axel Adler Jr. said on X that market data also point to improving sentiment across major exchanges. The exchange net-spread, which measures the difference between stablecoin inflows and BTC/ETH outflows, remains in positive territory.

This suggests that cash inflows are dominating, while Bitcoin and Ether are being withdrawn from exchanges, a sign that selling pressure is continuing to ease.

While the index still reflects caution, its steady climb signals that market anxiety is easing and that investors are beginning to price in optimism ahead of the expected Federal Reserve rate cut.

Crypto derivatives and market indicators

Bitcoin derivatives metrics suggest traders remain cautious but less defensive than before.

Liquidations for Bitcoin futures totaled roughly US$2.43 million in the past four hours, with long positions still comprising the majority—a sign that some traders continue to take profits amid uncertain short-term momentum. Ether saw similar trends, with US$4.28 million in liquidations, also dominated by long positions.

Futures open interest for Bitcoin edged down 0.42 percent to US$73.87 billion, while Ether’s slipped -0.08 percent to US$48.22 billion, indicating a slight cooling in leveraged activity following the recent price uptick.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s relative strength index (RSI) of 50.60 indicates neutral momentum, suggesting that traders are holding back from aggressive positioning as markets digest recent macro data and await clearer direction.

Swiss asset manager 21Shares has filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a passive ETF tracking the Hype token, marking its first product since agreeing to be acquired by FalconX.

Western Union announced plans to issue a US dollar stablecoin on the Solana blockchain, marking one of the largest traditional finance moves into digital assets to date.

Dubbed USDPT, the stablecoin will be custodied by Anchorage Digital and begin rolling out in 2026 across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, regions where remittances and mobile money use are strongest.

Western Union said USDPT will integrate directly with its existing fiat payment network, letting users move funds between on-chain and cash outlets without intermediaries or FX fees.

The company plans to maintain its 4,500 global corridors while adding blockchain rails for faster settlement.

Australia to classify stablecoins as financial products

Australia’s securities regulator has formally categorized stablecoins, tokenized assets, and wrapped tokens as financial products requiring licensing under existing law.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) announced the update this week, granting firms until June 2026 to transition into compliance.

The decision extends full consumer protections to stablecoin users and allows the agency to act against misconduct in the sector.

Service providers will now need Australian Financial Services licenses, while custody standards are being updated to include digital holdings.
